A toilet in your van, or not? A question every self-builder asks themselves.
Of course, it's a personal choice. But if you do choose a toilet, then choose a dry toilet!
Why? A dry toilet is super convenient, environmentally friendly, lightweight, and doesn't smell! (unless you don't clean your toilet, of course)
With a dry toilet, your urine and, ahem, poop are separated. This allows you to simply pour out your urine every day. Doing this in nature? Just add some extra water so the plants don't get too much of a shock.
When you've 'done your business,' cover your deposit with fine sawdust. The sawdust ensures drying, preventing odors. When the bag in the bucket is full, tie it up and, voilà, into the bin. No more searching for disposal points to empty your chemical toilet.
The Trelino EVO stands head and shoulders above all other composting toilets. How do we know this? From experience. We have effectively tested almost every toilet in recent years, yes, you read that right!
The Trelino is simple, does what it needs to do, and that's it. It's truly comfortable to 'sit' on and is super easy to clean. A specially designed membrane in the urine bottle ensures no spillage.
Nice extra: because you don't constantly have to empty your chemical toilet, a composting toilet increases your autonomy.
With the optionally available level indicator, you can see when the urine bottle is almost full and avoid surprises!
